    Theres always the option (admittedly now compulsory!!) to not pay to go to these things. No on gets mugged off unless they want to.

    It makes no odds really. They are choosing to pay and they know what they are paying for, theres no conning or "mugging" going on.

    If you don't think its worth the cash then don't pay. Simple.
