How would Wlads speed work out against Ali?

By round 3, Ali would have cut up Vlad's face like a roosted bore. Would have made Vitali's Post-Lewis face look like shaving cuts in comparison.

 

A prime, focused Ali makes Wlad look foolish.

 

So because Wlad's beat the mighty ATG David Haye he can now take out Ali.

 

No. Because Ali not as elusive and defensive minded boxer and will not run all night. Even pre war ali took many punches and his defense wasn't that great. It was reflex based but because he will look to be more offensive Wlad will be able to land more. Also he would be more comfortable because of Ali punching power. Alis defensive flows where mainly compensated with his chin. Even though Ali never met the fighter like Wlad, who will hit him often with precision and big power. Lets face it ali was able to avoid 99% of what Foreman threw at him and was hit couple times by shavers but in wlad fight he would be hit consistently. It may turn out a lot like Norton fight actually.

 

Ali would clown Wlad and make him look ordinary.

 

Let's just say Wlad and his fans would get very upset about the trash talk.

 

It's a stupid arguments from Ali fans saying Ali was too fast to hit.
If he was too fast to hit, why did he get brain damage???

 

So we are now comparing David Haye to Muhammad Ali

Did you not notice that Wlad was swinging @ air for most of the evening? Haye made Wlad look like he was moving in slow motion.

'67 Ali is the fastest heavyweight in the history of the sport.

Wlad NEVER lays a glove on him en route to getting KO'ed in 6 or 7 rounds....

 

Either Ali would gas Wlad out by the 10th round and stop him, or Wlad would pace himself and find a way to catch Ali with a straight R and drop him.

Could go either way, but IMO Ali wins 7/10 against Wlad. Just too good of defense and far superior handspeed than any HW in history.

He got brain damage to stop him from talking today. Can't have no Anti-War American Black Muslim like Ali
with a strong international voice in 2011.

Instead, they gave us a docile and safe, non-political (but likely Tea-party advocate) George Foreman.

 

Wlad is fast for a guy his size, but even Haye was faster. For a fighter with limited offense especially, especially for one throwing the most telepathic punch of all that your supposed to see a mile away, a hayemaker, is a testament Haye has very good speed. Ali, or Cassius Clay in his prime threw rhe phantom punch, a punch so fast many thought it was a hoax. If Wlad got tagged by hayemakers hed easily, easily get cut open by right hand after right hand and countered all night. Even today there us no aHW with Alis footwork and headmovement, but Haye would come closest. Plus Ali threw rapid 3-4 punch or more combinations and with Alis iron chin Wlad is not knocking him out either. It would be a close, but clear win for Ali with a clean face compared to a bloodied, stunned Wlad. No doubt in my mind.

 

Ali's advantages over Wlad ?

handspeed
combination punching
lateral movement
better chin
ring generalship
strategy
timing
reflexes allied to unmatched defensive skills , clinches, tying up etc.

and intangibles like heart, the ability to tough it out in any situation, the ability to change tactics in mid fight , durability and add to that a cruel streak a mile long if he felt disrespected by an opponent.

Wlads advantages over Ali ?

he's taller
he weighs more
he hits harder ( though Ali's power is always underated )
