Hatton was a much better fighter than Khan currently is. He had very quick feet and could close the distance well. Hell, he even closed the distance on Floyd. Unfortunately for Ricky, Floyd had infighting skills, skills that Khan lacks. Khan doesn't have the generalship to keep it at long range. Once up close, hatton would beat Khan up.

Hatton had a good chin for most of his career. By the time Pacquiao got him his chin had totally gone

Bad stylistic match-up for Khan at the moment.

Let's see how he develops in the next few years first.

Hatton's style would have been Kryptonite for Khan.

Hatton would destroy Amir, his style would wear him down badly and finish him early. Is the " iron chin" part sarcasm?

  7. would be Pacquiao all over again, we've seen how hatton handles speed.

We don't know what Khan's prime is yet.

Khan's weakness seems to be a good pressure fighter who can hit, Hatton was one of the best at this at 140. But I can also see Khan boxing circles around Hatton with his speed and reach...so it's a tough call.

Hatton doesn't have an easy time with Khan. But at this point he probably beats him. Khan hasn't reached his prime yet though.

Also, I have a feeling this thread isn't going to end well.

Khan by TKO, too much speed! Btw Khan hasn't even reached his peak yet, which i believe will be once he's filled out at welter

A lot of people are saying prime Hatton would beat Khan... If that's the way you look at it then what about a prime Khan?

Khan is years away from his prime.... So prime vs prime Khan takes it, I think he has potential to be a real talent.
