yeah, it is a paper belt, but, i guess it beats seeing another wlad jabfest. good to see a heayweight match without a klitschko in it

Something made up so all the fighters who can't beat a Klitschko don't feel so bad about themselves.

This should be a great fight.

Neither fighter really gets your blood boiling, both are a little small, and both are too old for us to hope they eventually improve. However, pitted against each OTHER it should be a very entertaining bout.

Where the heck are all the large, early 20 y-o heavyweights?

There are quite a few in the amateurs all under 22 actually, all 6'5-6'7. Hrgovic, Dychko, Omarov, Yoka, Adelghani, Parker

Here is Hrgovic (Croatia) in the World Series of Boxing. He's 19 , 6'5 and must be at least 240. He won Gold at the Junior Olympics last year.

His opponent Kharitonov is 30, 6'4 250 and has been a top MMA HW since 2004, has fought in K1 kickboxing and as an amateur boxer won Silver at the Asian and Central Asian games and qualified to fight at the 2004 Olympics.

Hell, at least a couple of top-10 HWs are actually fighting each other rather some tomato can or 'used-to-be'. I wish it happened more often.

i have no interest in the stupid title.. but this fight is something i'd like to see. they're both the same size, so it should be a good one. that's if it happens of course.

Sasha should win this big. Chagaev has looked shop worn since Wlad beat on his skull for nine rounds. The only real downside is that criminal Atlas will have another champion and thus a modicum of leveraging ability in the division.
