Who else feels '11 Adamek would be tuff as nails for '53 Marciano? I sure as hell do.

    Folks,

I have never stated Adamek would smoke Marciano like a Kool cigarette..... I just claim Adamek of 2011 would be a great opponent for '53 Marciano............ Christ, even Jose Feliciano can see that.........

I think he'd beat Cockell too, but I can't say he'd beat LaStarza because it would ruin my Italians>>>Poles assertion. :D

Off topic............. I think "Foreman-Schulz" of '95 was a damn good title fight for the ages..... YES! Today it seems to go forgotten in many eyes............. Not mines......

Marciano was a bull in the ring. Adameks ring smarts, combined with skills & determination to win would be to his advantage. Plus, Adameks jab with a 75" reach compared to Rocks 67" would keep him at bay all night.

It was a blatant robbery, and proof that "old" George was NO WHERE near as good as 70s Foreman.

And one of the BIGGEST ROBBERIES in the sport! Alex beat the hell out of Big George.

I disagree, i think Adamek would do well, but eventually Rocky would start breaking him down and would stop him.

Well, no offense but you're working with a lot less than my people, namewise. It makes sense you haven't developed exactly the same pugilistic tribalism I'm working with.

Adamek is smart enough. Marciano has extremely underrated ring IQ. No one has a determination advantage over Marciano. Period.

You only get broken down when you stand there & fight. When Rocky goes on the offense, adamek gets on his bike. He has finally realized boxing just isn't dishing out punishment, but also knowing how to avoid it. Adamek is a pretty complete fighter in many regards.

Just wish he had a bit more pop @ HW. But a points win is just as good as a KO!

Marciano did beat some old men BUT these guys were really skilled,no offense to Adamek but I doubt he could've beaten Walcott or Charles.

ROBBERY? NO!!!! Close shave?? YES!! I gave Foreman the nod over Schulz by a lousy point / rd..... PLUS! Foreman at 256 pounds was not as conditioned nor psyched like he was in '94 for Moorer....... Had Foreman been better tuned and focused for 10 to 1 underdog Schulz, I'm sure Foreman would've been a lot more impressive....

Yeah a faded early thirties version of Ezzard Charles, p4p rated in the top ten by almost everybody who does lists, a little better than say, a prime Cunningham.
