It doesn't make it right though does it, should Margo still be fighting? He didn't kick them for the hell of it. He kicked them because certain shady characters he is involved with told him to. It was his way of losing a fight without actually getting beat up.
He has been KO'd but remember all K-1 fighters have.. these guys have to fight THREE times in ONE night to win the tournament championship. Although we will get to see in the olympics how he does.. although I have a feeling his style is more suited for pro, but it will be funny watching him trying to decapitate the point scoring amateurs
k, let me change my question. Can this Badr dude make any noise in the heavyweight division? you guys that know him, how dya think he does in a boxing match with some of the top guys, like arreola, haye, chambers, haye, adamek, and could he possibly give the k bros a bigger challenge than they are used to?
you know, IDK.. he certainly has the physical tools.. here he is knocking out an olympic boxer in 2007.. 5 minutes in [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypYGuf1pOiE[/ame] Here is knocking out 7 foot tall semmy schilt in under a minute (fight starts at 4 minutes) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRoiCi6CnbA&feature=related[/ame] Who knows, its all speculation at this point really.. guess we will have to wait and see
It would be fun whilst it lasted but I think he would only reach c or b level standard. You never know with the state of the heavyweight division. I think he would have been a force if he had focused on pure boxing rather than kick boxing as he has probs picked up loads of bad habits that would be hard to shake at his age!
he seems fearless, has power in his hands, and has a pretty good long jab. he needs to fight a beck type guy, or maybe even a publicity type fight with that kimbo, loser leaves boxing (no contest fight really). i bet they would try and push him quick to title fight contention. at least this guy would get there with his fists, not with his mouth. you guys have made me interested in this dude, since someone said hes gonna be boxing for morocco. if he starts annihalating guys, and really beating them up bad, hospitalization and shows no remorse, they would want wlad to teach him a lesson. good vs evil type thing. kinda displays the state of the division when you have to look outside the sport for challenges...or maybe just the dominance of the k bros
Don't think he has much of a chance in the boxing ring... He has a glass jaw, so much is certain. He lost a couple of times on KO1 or 2. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da-FG_8gkVU[/ame]
he's too wild and lets himself open too much....also the guy is bat**** crazy and he will get frustrated really quickly if his opponent fights "ugly", and when he get frustrated he has a bad habit of getting either KTFO or DQ. He's a major talent in K1 HW division and the only reason why he never won a WGP to this day its his incapability to control his emotions.
he seemed to get really softened up with the kicks. he was hit flush and knocked down the first time as it appeared he was expecting another kick. he wouldnt have to worry about that in the boxing ring...but his opponents would. hed probably kick the first sign of trouble. well, we could only hope for some excitement i guess.
Plus last time I heard he was on the run for the autorities, don't know if they caught him yet and if he faces (long) jailtime.
wow, the making of a huge superfight of good vs evil! they could go on december 21, 2012, the end of the world!
