For a while I was actually starting to believe that the hardcore Pac fans may be the dumbest fans in boxing...

However, after reading this topic I now know that my original theories hold true. It pains me to see how stupid the rabid Mayweather fans are.

i used to think Pac has a weak chin (he was dropped by Yeshmagambetov and dropped by a jab....by a f%$king jab!), but maybe it's because he drained at those weights. but now, seeing him him took shots at WW, i think he has a good chin. Floyd also showed he has a good chin the way he took Shane's bomb, but i think Pac's more tested.

 

Precisely. If Floyd fans want to insist that Floyd's chin today beats Pac's chin from years and years ago, then they might be right. But the thread topic is present tense, so talking about those old fights when Pac was a stick figure isn't really as material to the discussion.

 

I'm a casual fan, so admittedly there are some things I don't understand. For example, why are these Floyd Fanatics so emotionally invested in the misguided notion that he's got a better chin than Pac? His chin doesn't get him the win, because it's his skills that...um, pay the bills. Even Floyd would say that he doesn't get tagged and marked up like Pac does, so therefore he hasn't been tested in the way that Pac has. It's also the reason why he likely beats Pac if they ever fight.

Floyd doesn't have to be the best in every aspect of his game to be successful. His undefeated record proves that. Why these fanatics think that he must be gives me the impression a lot of them are like fangirls who'd burst into tears at the mere sight of Floyd.

(we'll leave aside the facts that one of these KOs was a bodyshot, and the other occurred when Pac was dangerously weight-drained, as proven when he jumped THREE weight classes for his very next fight)
