IM just rating him as a hw not no 6-6 250 but a hw period, since their is no weight limit i rate all hw the same.. This is why Adamek is nowhere near my top 20 and Haye never was either.. Although at cruiser they be lower top 10 or top 15 As for Wlad i have him at 9.
So your saying that there are 10+ boxers who can beat Wlad in an imaginary world? He must be inconsolable.
There's been a small handful of idiots like yourself but the majority have seen through the small minded defence mechanisms. I suggest you read through the thread and then have another attempt at working out what i'm trying to say.
You can't take physical assets out of the equation when you consider P4P. While it is easy to say that Wlad wins because he has a size advantage, you could also say that Pacman wins because he has a speed and power advantage. Floyd is physically gifted too, does he lose points because of that? Is Ali considered less of an ATG because he had the physical asset of blinding speed? At what point do we separate someone's physical assets from their 'skill'?
He's only in the top 10, out of loyalty. You know, his entire career has been taken into account. If they did it by the rules (what he'd done in the last 3-4 months) he'd not be in the top 50.
What I'm saying is, tell me anyone on Wlad's resume, who definitely beats Adamek or Haye As in 100% definite. There's nobody I'd give them both a good chance with absolutely anyone, either brother has fought, other than Lennox Lewis
Comparing Wlad's athletic abilities, to a peak Lewis, is a grave insult. What's more, he doesn't even use any of it. He wins fights by landing 90-100 jabs, and 20 power shots
Truth is, since Wlad has been linked to Haye, he's had a lot of interest from the same fans who tend to love Pacquiao. Just as Pacquiao isn't Mayweather, Wlad isn't Haye...........
As I said, this is the general issue. Wlad's popularity has only come from being linked to Haye. Some fans hate on the "nasty" guys, and just tag along to their whiter than white rivals
Ranking Wlad ahead of Hopkins, Bradley and Ward is just nonsense. He's only there, as boxing writers think his entire career has been good. Loyalty to him. Not on actual opponents Bradley's beaten numerous world class, truly dangerous opponents. Bouts he was 50/50 in. As has B-Hop and Ward. Wlad's just gone through the motions with a series of chumps
This is just plain stupidity Wlad and Vitali are nowhere near as skilled as guys like Bowe or Lewis. The truth is, they're just in an era where almost everyone they face is not only 6'3 and 220, but they're also plain average fighters.
You've made about 150 posts in the last week and almost all are about how bad a fighter Wlad is. David?
You know, do you honestly think Russia has all the worlds great heavyweight fighters, suddenly.........? Do you think, suddenly, white guys have defied all evolution, and become better than Black guys at being heavyweights? After like 100 years of African American dominance? Or do you think the rest of the planet gave up on it, and they just moved into the empty void? Truth is, 20 years ago, Lebron James would have probably, seriously considered boxing as a career. And he'd a 6'6 260 pound guy, in a ring, beating the crap out of these Russian equivillants. Big Europeans are interested in boxing. Big Americans aren't
