While not an outright robbery Collins was lucky to get that first decision against Eubank, he dropped a clear 4 points over the last 3 rounds and imo the fight was more or less even through 9.

No he wasnt lucky, he won that fight fair and square. Even Eubank himself said before the scores were even annoucned ''I got a draw'' Even Eubank himself didnt even think he won the fight. And btw how many close and controversial decisions did Eubank escape with throughout his career? Quite a few I think. You could even argue that Ray close beat him.

You're trying to be condescending, I get it.

    You're not good at it.
Jpab and Laz are Akhi's(I think that's what it's called).
At 4, yeah, back to preach the word of Ponce.

Collins was lucky not to be killed in the fight.

Have to disagree. Thought Eubank was rather unlucky in the 1st fight. Don't have too much sympathy for Eubank as he had a few lucky ones himself prior to the 1st Collins fight.

Never saw the 2nd but everyone says Collins kicked the crap out've him.

Eubank looked almost superhuman skilled against Denys Cronin, Benn and Watson in that 1990, early 91 period; he loved it when a flat footed fighter walked him down (later saw with Rocchigiani, Wharton too) so he didn't have to worry about timing or overreaching.

Collins was NOT flat footed and could give you angles and had nice fast short punches in combination and counter. He would cause Chris problems at this point. SC declined a little in speed by the time he did fight him.

By the way it is a terrible shame Eubank never did break the US market. He was an amazing character with such a different style.

COLLINS if he had been managed better, could've earned a lot of money back then because he was an Irish-American selling out in Boston Garden, Atlantic City and Vegas.

Collins himself stated that Eubank was totally shot when he fought Calzaghe.
