    Dont know who to pick, all I know, is that Lara looked terrible against Molina, and Brewer, which makes you question whether he's ready.

    Good post! But don't be surprised if Lara TKO's Williams in less than 5 rounds. The reason? Williams goes crazy, disregards his defense and lowers his hands and Lara is a great counterpuncher, with a lethal straight left and with great timing. All the necessary ingredients to put Williams to sleep once again! ;)

    Bro, Lara completely dominated Brewer and stopped him in the last round! How can you say he looked bad? And against Molina he admitted that he only trained for 1 week as his coach was in Ireland coaching Rigondeaux. :-(

    Nope. There are some Cuban fighters that I admit are not great. If Williams was Cuban, I would still say that he doesn't have any defense whatsoever. ;)

    Even Tarver wasn't impressed with him in that fight. A while back when they were talking about stepping him upto a title shot, Tarver had gone back and watched the Brewer fight, and said based on that performance, that he didn't think he was ready, what does that tell you about how well he performed in that particular fight?

    And Solis was going to beat Vitaly if it wasn't for that knee injury. I am not backing out on that prediction, just that the unexpected happened. Like I said, there are other Cuban fighters that I don't think are going to be World Champions and others that will.

    It's not a Cuban thing, Lara has everything to beat Williams but if he doesn't, it's not because I was wrong is because it greatly depends on his desire, game plan, determination and guts. ;)

    Brother, just because Tarver didn't like the way Lara looked against Brewer it doesn't mean anything. That's his opinion, based on his style as a fighter. He doesn't understand that every fighter is different and that they don't have to do what he feels it's the right thing to do. Plus, Lara was just about 10-0 going against a very experienced pro fighter in Brewer. Tarver doesn't even understand the Cuban style. ;)

    All joking aside. I'm looking forward to a good fight and I rate Lara, but Williams experience will be too much. Martinez's shot was a 1 in 1000 punch that was perfect. Don't be fooled by that, Williams can take a punch.

    Lara has all the tools to make Williams look like an amateur. All depends on how much Lara has trained and is mentally ready.
