I'll take it a bit further for you. The fight before Wlad dominated and stopped McCline (a good fight to watch for those who want to see what Wlad can do against someone his own size), McCline himself basically shut out Briggs. Hell, Brock beat Briggs, too. :patsch

You are a ****ing idiot. No ifs no buts. I do not want to entertain you any longer. You know so little about anything I bet you have to ask an adult to help you wipe your arse. Seriously ****ing deluded.

Klitschko fans really are on another level.

No amount of revisionist history is going to make an era of Samuel Peter, Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chagaev etc look strong. Its true people were knocking the HW division when Lewis was dominant but no where to the same extent as now. Lewis' resume isn't loaded with ATG's or anything but he has a lot of solid wins over good competition. However good Wlad is as fighter, you can't say the same for him.

Its taken a trash talking CW to inject any interest at all in the HW division atm. Its truly in a terrible state. Its not Wlad's fault that there aren't other v good HW fighters out there. But its crazy to say Peter, Chambers and so on are on the level of Lewis' competition, or to suggest that they will one day be regarded as so. The serious lack of talent in the current era is clear to see to anyone who isn't invested in propping up Wlad's resume.

Because he was afraid of the left hook.

Lewis also was not keen on fighting Wlad, who was considered the better brother when Lewis fought Vitali.

You need to change the pick in your public profile

Dawson made the guy he supposedly was ducking look like a crude brawler:good

I agree, though I would like to see the Manny Steward Lewis fight the Manny Steward Wlad.

Wlad has more talent than Lewis does. He has a better left hook, certainly. Neither has the greatest chin. Wlad could win, but he would probably have to fend off a Lewis who would jump on him from the start.

Sam Peter is considered Wlad's best win. 'Nuff said.

I forgot that was still there. I'll change it at some point, probably to a Wlad/Haye pic. :hat

On the whole, Lewis's competition was better than Wlad's but if we're talking about their longest winning streaks and the competition they faced then the gap closes and you could possibly make a case for Wlad.

Some of Lewsi's best wins occured outside of his longest win streak, he beat Vitali, Ruddock, Tucker, Bruno, Rahman, and the washed up Tyson outside of his win streak. That leaves his best wins during his streak, in a not set in stone order-Holyfield, Tua, Mercer, Golota, Morrison, McCall and Grant.

Most of Wlad's better wins have been during his current streak, he did beat Byrd, McCline, and Barrett before this streak but that still leaves his best wins as: Haye, Sultan, Chambers, Byrd, Chagaev, Brock, and Peter.

Wlad's done well and his current win streak is impressive and has better opponents than some want to admit. I'll still take Lewis's win streak and his resume over all but Wlad isn't as far behind as some might think.
