loved watching hatton but i was under the impression he was already long retired, is this a suprise to anyone? kinda unecessary, maybe he's got a card coming up on his promotion copmpany that needs his name recognition so he's getting his name out there and in circulation again?

I thought he was retired too.

    Oh well. Cheers, Rick.

Hope he doesn't end up broke, it's such a fighter cliche.

The man is probably doing coke again and had a pity-party. I thought he was done as soon as he crossed the pond and found out his wrestling/head-butting/elbowing tactics wouldn't play in a neutral setting. End career. Also this man was not a hall of famer. A slugger at best, almost no boxing skill.

after pac ko'd him, most people knew that it was just a matter of time before he retires..no shame because he lost only to the 2 top fighters..

Everyone thought he was retired but I guess this is him admitting it to himself. Probably big news for him but I think the nature of his last loss and the fact there was nowhere else to go in the dvision meant people were not clamouring to see him fight anymore. He was a good guy to have in the mix and helped make the LWW and WW divisions so deep and intersting. He came third in a truly golden age for those weight classes. Now we just have to get the top two guys in the ring together to fing out the order of who's 1 and who's 2.
