I've always disliked Haye's crass promotional style, and his personality has annoyed me a bit. Recently I've hated his switch to an unentertaining "Andre Dirrell 2.0" style of boxing, and the way he's always trying to plug some bit of tat he's flogging like Ricky Gervais without the irony. I still think that an uninjured Haye would have won, however. (I think Wlad suspects so as well, which is why big brother has been called in, as always seems to be the case whenever Wlad has a tough time with an opponent.)
it's too bad the opponents hadnt been reversed. Vitali has no compassion for loud mouths and bullies like Haye, so he woulda most likely really hurt him (wlad seems to be a real sportsmen and gentleman and simply didnt wanna embarass him too much) and wlad adamek would have been such an awesome technical war, it mighta gone down as one of the best of all time. I say this with the most respect but obviously, unlike the general consensus, they ARE two different guys. maybe after vitali retains, adamek can brutalize haye and set up that fight with adamek. that win would solidify wlads position as a top 5 atg imo, unless vitali does a better job with him himself. interchangeable ranking wise. and thanks for taking the time to talk to the fans. that organization you're with is just awesome. bravo!
As you are the chief cook and bottle washer/ESB mouthpiece for Camp Klitschko (or Wladimir, as he's usually called), I'm not sure your opinions can be considered 100% unbiased.
c'mon Dave, the only one stopping you now's yaself,, chin up, chin down, but Don't leave, just look at B-hop [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsAYDjo-R5I[/ame]

for butthurt haye fans who don't want him to retire: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_GVSFPg-dA[/ame]
I am being serious. I saw the fight, and I took different things away from it than you did, obviously. For instance, people have been repeatedly criticising his footwork in that fight - could there, perhaps, have been a reason that it was so much worse than in any of his other fights to date? No, of course not. That would just be evidence that "Hayeters gotta Hate", or some other bull****.
I have some interest in the sport, but not an obsessive fanaticism about it. I don't really want to trade places with you. (Subsequent sentences removed - unwarranted name-calling.) As for bottle-related subjects, let's just see if Haye has the bottle to continue, shall we? I would like to see Haye-Vitali, but he is making noises like he doesn't want any part of that fight, and is already talking retirement. Fair enough, he did say he'd retire before 31, and it's getting close, so at least he's sticking to his word. Here's to more "Land Of The Giants" match-ups (vs Tyson Fury? David Price? Yao Ming?) that should really be taking place in a superheavyweight freakshow division, and the slow death of the formerly most prestigious title in the sport.
