Tarver camp write off 'primitive' Green

Now im going to go watch the Mundine fight you may have a point here.

LJD, his legs will be all he has got, sitting on ropes vs Danny = ZzZzZ , anything goes, back of head shots, pulling gloves away from opponents face, as Danny calls it the JACKPOT, like pulling the slot machine handle with one hand and jackpot on the chin with the other hand. He said this in a video interview recently with Ray Wheatly , gestures and all. I guess Danny forgot this is not legal in boxing, he was quite proud explaining it to the camera.

So Ty all your basically saying is this fight will be a good scrap and an interesting fight.

whats the bet tarver gets ahead on the cards by round 6 and then danny will have to knock him out thus giving us a great fight...!

 

yeah i guess so i just feel he could have chosen better opposition. He said that he is giving the fans what they want, well i think the fans want to see him achive what he claims to be, the best CW in the world by fighting current champions and taking their belts, he has fallen very short of this and is importing has been celebrities to beat up and put on his CV, yeah i guess its entertaining, so is celebritie boxing but it doesnt mean its right.

Larry Merchant didnt even know what the IBO was when he mentions it during a tarver fight,. that should speak volumes alone, the title Danny holds is insignificant in the world of boxing.

Imo this fight has points written all over it. I see it being a bit of a chess match with Green being very cautious like the BJ Flores fight and Tarver looking to throw counters. I expect both guys to have a low output of puncher and the fight ending with a close decision either way.

 

if Dannys output is low then he will loose the fight, they know this. Tarver gets settled and boxes off the backfoot its a pts decision to Tarver. Surely they would not be that stupid Francis, suprized you think this would happen tbh.

 

Do you think Green will come forward and try to outwork Tarver for a decision win ? That might be their plan ?

 

If Green doesn't come forward he'l lose. He has to be aggressive & try & smother Tarver. Sitting back & trying to outbox him like he did against Flores won't work against the southpaw Tarver. Honestly if Tarver comes in shape he wins this fight fairly easy imo.

 

i agree if danny tries to outbox and out counter tarver he loses, he has to push the action and never let tarver settle, i can see it being an ugly fight with lots of inside fighting, danny slipping those short overhand rights and uppercuts and tarver leaning back and trying to counter. Dannys output will have to be high in order to win, he simply has to throw a lot more punches

 

at least green turns up and fight the people he nominates.
