Why is nobody blaming Adam Booth for his ****ed up game plan, and training routine.

This guy attached a stick to some pads and figured that by having haye hit the mits this way he will be able reach Wlad :rofl:rofl, it was obvious after a the first round they had underestimated the distance Wlad was to Haye, and that they never had plan to close the distance before trying to land the big punch.

In the corner he seemed more like a therapist talking to a client than a trainer

He brings Haye in the lightest he's ever been, but come to find out your plan all a long was to land 1 big shot, so why not have him heavier so he could put more weight behind that one punch u wanted to land?

Letting haye lift weights as if he was a model, I saw Haye weight lifting routine, and it looked like he was trying to get his body right for GQ magazine, this instead of explosive drills = fail

Either Haye needs to fire him or make him an assistant, and hire a real boxing trainer

I wouldn't know what he was saying in the corner because Sky think people would rather hear Jim Watt repeating himself over and over again than the corners. What did he say?

Actually this proves (something which I always knew) that having a body like a mens health model doesnt mean anything in boxing or the hw division. Being fat isnt good either!!!!!!!!!!!! But, there is no need to work out like you are going to a magazing shoot.

:good Just wanted to put that out there.

This. Impressed with the DeGale gameplan even though IMO Groves lost. A trainer can take you only so far your talent goes, Steward/Klitschko were too good but Booth is solid corner nontheless.

He had the right game plan, only his problem was not pushin the fight more and throwing more punches, also blaming his ****ing toe for the loss which was pathetic but it would have been alot more interesting if he threw more

i was surprised haye wasnt closing the distance more getting inside that jab at times he was making wlad miss but then he didnt make a forward move to land shots off his own - as for groves degale - groves won just degale let him take the 1st 4 rounds i think - id pick degale to win a rematch if he let his hands go a little more

The plan itself was fine. They just expected Wlad to be easier to hit, which they can't change because of the differences in size, and Haye needed to be more active.

It was just a cautious fight from both men. Haye is a counter puncher and needed Wlad to lead more than he did to be active himself. They both negated each others strengths and it wasn't a great fight but I think the gameplan was fine.

what does it have to do with cheerleading haye?

adam booth is a solid coahc, possibly the best in britain and one fight doens't change that.

Booth's coaching is a similar standard to his fighters. Good, but far from elite.

And Haye's endless trash talk and "trying to get inside Wlad's head" probably made Wlad more cautious than he already was.

This entire idea of trying to get Wlad (and his trainer) emotional so he throws caution in the wind and becomes reckless in trying to hunt Haye down was a totally foolish gameplan IMO. Booth and Haye hoped it would work and when it didn't they had absolutely no idea what to do.

    It was a complete failure.

With Hayes upper body movement, reflexes and hand speed he should have used more jabs. It would not have increased the risk of getting hit, since Wlad kept him in his prefered distance anyway, with his superior footwork.

Booth and Haye did the same mistake as all Wlads opponents: they stared themselfes blind on the Sanders loss, and down the toilet it went. Klitschko opponents need to stop drooling on what happened many years ago, and bring some skill to the table.
