It is easy to find and post...which is my rationale behind letting those who want to educate themselves to do so. I'm just not built to go out of my way to do for anther what he can do for himself.

Most likely those who choose to agree with Ben WON'T take the time to research the situation themselves to come out with their own conclusion....instead..they'll choose to co-sign someone elses stance who CELARLY is a Floyd supporter. It's easier for them...

And doing all that work knowing that I can't save anyone who doesn't want to be means it's a waste of my time. I'm more reactive than proactive in this enviorment Rep.. I play my position based on knowing my audience.

And please people, lets try to stay on topic here, nothing of who is the higher ATG, or who ducked who, ect, ect...just simply asking for your opinion on who you think has the overall better body work of the two. :bbb

Floyd. He absolutely murdered Mosley with them.

Definitely Mayweather. He does a great job of jabbing to the body, and throws a lot of sneaky right hands to the body when in close.

Pac. He had Morales and Margarito keeling over from bodyshots. Landed a couple big ones on Mosley. Set up the Hatton KO with a body shot. Completely dominated Clottey with combinations to the body. He lands much harder, more powerful body shots than Floyd.

very underrated aspect of his game.

    Mayweather by far.

Floyd's jabbing to the body is overrated. I don't believe it is a particularly destructive or effective tactic. It seemed to get to a weight-drained Corrales, but I don't think it has been productive in many other fights.

However, his bodypunching when he commits to the shots is excellent.

This is one area where I can't really separate them, would need to think about it and rewatch some fights.

Gut feeling is that Pac is better in this regard, because I can't recall Floyd doubling anyone over the way Manny did to Morales and Margarito, but as I say, would need to review this before giving a definitive answer.

Has manny ever stopped anyone with a bodyshot?:think

We've seen Floyd do it a few times. That right to the liver of Mitchell was sick. Jr is great at sneaking them in here and there.

Thanks. I was watching this vid yesterday and thinking how I would like his style had he became a swarmer. He ended up abandoning inside fighting though.

Pacquiao mixes hard bodyshots into quickfire combos, and often commits to the punches enough to turn into them and make them land with some serious impact. A guy who wasn't built as strongly as Clottey or as teak-tough as Clottey would've folded like a deckchair to this body attack:

His footwork and movement mean he is better not fighting exclusively as a swarmer, IMO.

he didn't abandon it but he can definitely mix it up with different styles of fighting now.
