    Lucero is a gale of hammering overhand punching. Evans is forced back under duress and spills into the ropes trying to shield himself with bent arms. It's ruled a slip. Lucero starts to bob and weave as he worms his way in and leads with overhand rights. It's all power punches, no jabs in sigh from Lucero. AND HE PAYS FOR IT!!!! CHECK RIGHT HOOK BY EVANS!! LANDS FLUSH ON THE CHIN!! LUCERO DOWN HARD, ON HIS BUTT - JUST BARELY KEEPING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD FROM SMASHING INTO THE CANVAS!!!! Lucero is up but very wobbly. Evans lobs wild uppercuts at him with his feet barely touching the ground between reloads. Lucero is now on the ropes, shrinking against them as Evans falls atop him. Hard southpaw 1-2-3 by Evans, getting a little sloppy as Lucero backs off and rolls his shoulders. They slug it out in the pocket and Lucero lands a hard overhand right to the throat but takes another one of those hard right hooks flush to the temple.

    Great round!!!

    Great round. Evans round obviously, but at the end Lucero finally start letting his hands go again. Evans' right hook is a monster.
