ESPN2/3 FNF: Francisco Sierra vs. Jesus Gonzales RBR

Gonzalez fought the last round very smart, picking his spot then dancing away away from the one or two punches Sierra tried to throw in response. If Sierra's stamina was better he couldn't have done it quite like that, but Gonzalez took advantage of the situation as it was.

Very strong last couple of rounds by Gonzalez, should give him the decision with a couple of points to spare.

Gonzalez' movement reminded me a little of Sergio Martinez in the last round or two. Not a lot, not nearly on the same level, but just a little bit when he would sidestep punches by Sierra and such.

 

He took a good beating. You're never happy are ya?

 

good scrap , i wanna see a rematch with Sierra making the weight and coming in prepared

Probably not, but there have been so many on FNF lately it looks like it's mandatory. :yep

Sierra really must have had nothing left, if throwing an elbow, after the bell, barely moved Gonzales' head.
