What is up with FNFs? Rios vs Antillon possibly the FOTY tomorrow night....

    Is there some beef between Top Rank/Show Time and ESPN?

    Thought it was odd too, usually ESPN and Showtime seem to be on good terms

    Rios isn't quite a "big star" yet (although he's probably on his way, with his style) and Antillon never really was and probably won't be.

    They usually only mention the next day's offerings if it's "names".

    That can't be it. Atlas and the others went on and on about Rios after he beat Peterson and Acosta.

    I wonder if this harkens back to the comments he made about roach? Or has he received coverage on that network since then?

    I doubt that and yes it was covered and Roach told them it was no big deal.

    A FNF representative just sent me this message after I sent him a message.

    Bad Boyz Boxing to ESPN Friday Night Fights
    What is up with FNFs? Possible FOTY tomorrow night and not even a mention of Rios vs Antillon on tonight's card. This was the most competitive card you have had in months but not giving Rios vs Antillon it's due soured it for me.


    ESPN Friday Night Fights to Bad Boyz Boxing: Go to ESPN.com boxing page and look under Williams- Lara header. Brian Kenny and Dan Rafael discuss Klitschko-Haye fallout, Williams return to the ring vs. Lara, and Rios-Antillon.

    Bad Boyz Boxing: I would have preferred to hear about their views on the show.

    No explanation was given as to why not mentioned on the show.
