Ya Pac is the catch weight king bc he's had 2 catch weight fights in his career . 1 against Cotto at 145 (1 pound diffrence between cottos last fight) and Margo 150 , where Margo reyhydrates and enjoys a 17 pound weight advantage.

thats one of the excuses people make
pac is a monster but in fairness, since ODLH (and including) everyone has been coming off losses, at a catch weight or old a combination of those. except maybe clottey, whos not on pac's level anyway

if he fought a prime guy who was on a winning streak at his natural weight it would shut a lot of people up, id say someone like ortiz at WW or bradley at LW or WW... how about maidana even?? thatd be a war

^ Haters will hate no matte rwhat. Ortiz and Maidana would be considered easy picking sfor PAcquiao .. Nobody was saying anything about those fighters when Pac was fighting Clottey , Margo or even Shane. If Pac cleaned up the 140 guys ppl would say he beat up B level opponents.

:smoke Well played. Really highlights the stupidity of most people on here.

As I always say, catchweight world title fights were good enough for Sugar Ray Leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez, Pernell Whitaker, Bernard Hopkins and Oscar De La Hoya, so they are most certainly good enough for Manny Pacquiao as well.

The very idea that weighing ONE POUND less than his last fight left Miguel Cotto "weight-drained" is utterly insane.

And 150lbs was a GREAT weight for a guy who spent his career at 147 and had recently moved to 154, like Margarito.

But as we always say, haters will hate.

I dont understand this post... You say he should fight a guy on a winning streak, then mention Ortiz and Maidana... What is going on?

Pac was more weight drained. He came in bigger than them on fight night.

haters say pacs performance is overrated because he fights fighters who are old, weightdrained, or coming off losses - then accuse him of being on peds because of his incredible accomplishments. wtf!
