According to Arum they'll agree to olympic style drug testing, but they want a 'neutral' organization to handle it , not USADA. I don't see why that's a problem. Floyd should just accept this ... as long as it's OSDT I don't think it should matter.

I was right they don't want USUDA doing it. They might rig the test. Floyd hired them..

He just doesn't trust USADA apparently , wants some oversight.

""I don't think anybody's test is as vigorous as the test administered by the Olympic Organization. And we can arrange for the Olympic Organization to handle the test under the supervision of the Athletic commission respective of the state where the fight is going to be held. "

I'm sure this could be worked out , no reason for the fight not to happen now.

GBP has been using USADA for floyd fights. and even before the first round of negotiations, TR has already been suspecting about the GBP-USADA connection. so it's better that another governing body would do it to avoid this.

i hope floyd does fight pac now after ortiz. schafer said floyd might fight another one in december and khan around next year.

^ If Floyd Pac doesnt happen next year I never wanna see it. They'll be too old and past their primes for me to care anymore. It should happened 2 years ago.

Fighters that Floyd avoided couldn't make Mannny flinch.
Mayweather clearly wants no part of Pacquiao and like always wants the unproven or older Welters.
Hatton (Collazo Questionable and only 147 win) JMM (No Wins 147), Ortiz (Berto) and Khan (No Wins @147)

Why is such a talent fighting such inexperienced Welterweights ? Manny stepped right up to 147 + and had zero problems murdering Cotto, Margo, Clottey and Shane like it was nothing. Manny would love to bring it to Floyd. There is not a fighter alive 147 or below he would avoid.

As for USADA and Tygart i always said its ludicris to use a fighters agency and not a neutral or one where the Nevada commission has oversight.

The real question is, If Pacman and his team totally agree to Floyds testing will that be enough or will Floyd find something else to hamper this fight happening? Will it be USADA or nothing?

Void knows he has to cheat to have any chance Vs. Pac! I think it was Mosley's trainer who said that Void was not taking all the tests while Mosley was.................if so.........it appears that Void is a cheat, but then, what can anyone expect from a woman beater?! Anyone remember that?

i hope floyd will not think of other stupid **** up. roach has an interview saying he expects to be making a gameplan for a floyd fight next year. but thinks it is not for pacquiao. he thinks floyd would fight khan next but never pacquiao.

    Seriously, don't bother.

The *****s went from "take the test" to "Arum wants to cheat by not choosing USADA" line of reasoning anyway.

Nobody can guarantee that there's a party that's 100% neutral especially when Pac has so many fans. What is Arum concerned about? Each of the blood test procedures can be filmed to ensure an equal amount is dished out from opposing sides. If Floyd agrees with Arum's request, fine. But let it be known this slows up the process. I imagine Floyd is going to be a hardass about it. Then we're back in square one. Best move is to just fully concede, like the way Vic and Shane have done so.

I believe Arum want WADA and NEVADA to do the test.

Floyd will most likely start bitching on that and insist that for a fight to happen USDA must do the testing.

    Pure speculation though.

Mayweather changed his stance Saturday, moving off the hard line he had taken on using USADA as the testing agency.
    This content is protected
" Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, who is representing Mayweather, told ESPN.com. "What we're saying, and what is important to us, is four things -- that the tests be random, that they include blood and urine and the time frame, meaning when do you stop the tests before the fight but know they will still be effective. Three of them we have agreed on -- random, blood and urine. So now it is a matter of the two sides working out the specifics of the cutoff date to assure it will still be effective."

"The pressure is on Pacquiao," he said. "They keep moving the goal post like they did with the $10 million weight penalty [if either fighter is over the contract maximum 147 pounds], which we agreed to. They didn't think we would accept that. When we did, they had to find something else to make into a problem. So now they're saying it's up to the commission instead of wanting to negotiate the drug testing with us. I don't want to hear that if the fight breaks up it was because of us. When they came to us with a $10 million weight penalty, they didn't expect us to say yes. They thought we'd say no. So when we said yes, they had to come up with something else. Now we're off USADA, and they are going to come and say only urine testing if that's what the commission says. It's really frustrating.
