He won by devastating KO today!! Estrada had no defense after being off balance and got knocked out clean by a very strong left hook!! Impressive KO from Vargas who's a fighter to keep an eye on bc he's entertaining as hell. He was trained by Roger Mayweather but not sure anymore bc he was not in his corner. Anyone got an update on this??
I have a hard time believing Roger and Jessie broke up, Roger's been training him since he was a little kid. It's likely Roger had other more important matters to attend at this specific night and someone stepped in for him.
Just watched the kayo, that was nasty stuff, reminiscent of Ruddock - Dokes in a way, but with Estrada stretched out on the canvas. Hope he's ok, that was a tremendous hook.
Ellerbe was there so who knows if they broke up. The ko reminded me of Patterson johansson when his keg and foot were quivering. Brutal.
It wasn't really that impressive the guy slipped, lost his balance and Jessie took advantage of it. The way he fell was cool to see, Jessie took full advantage of his opponents bad luck.
jessie is a super nice kid. glad to see his career taking off. i havent talked to him in a few weeks, but i am pretty sure all is ok with him and mayweather. jessie's facebook hasnt mentioned anything and i am pretty sure jeff mayweather would have mentioned it to me if there were issues. Jeff is like a father figure to him.
no problem. after massive issues getting our site going, Jeff's and my site is about ready to launch. Jessie will be a very active part of the site as well, so you will be very well updated on him. the thing that is so awesome about jessie is when he is not boxing and in regular clothes, he just looks like some little high school freshman. he is as polite and quiet as it gets. in the ring, he is obviously different. but like i said, he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. he will be a great ambassador for the sport if he reaches championship level
