Can't say I've noticed Bradley committing to this punch.

Any historical fighters discovered this wonder tool, or was it only invented the night Floyd fought a zombified Diego Corrales?

 It's so stoppable though. It's the most stoppable punch I can think of. I really don't understand your brain at all.

A jab to the body leaves you within range and unprotected for a counter hook or straight shot. It's an extremely risky punch, and Mayweather only gets away with it because he throws it infrequently, is extremely fast, and is usually in the ring with someone vastly inferior to him, being the Man from Del Monte of boxing (every opponent carefully handpicked).

The reason more fighters don't utilize a jab to the body is because it's not worth the risk. It's not particularly effective or destructive, and if you eat a counter you're more than likely going to be knocked off balance for a KD.

    FAIL.

If you actually watched fights instead of trolling around on here sucking Mayweather balls, you'd know the fight I was referring to was Pacquiao vs Morales 1, 1st round.

***** troll exposed yet again. All in a day's work. :smoke

pac always punches with evil intentions, instead of to score points.

That zombified Corrales went on to win another title in that same division. Meanwhile Morales never fought in that division again and hasnt beat a name opponent yet.

Oh and watch more bradley fights.

Thats why you have to be fast and have great timing to use it. I didnt say any bum off the street can do it. Thats why arguably the 3 best American fighters under 29 today, Bradley, Ward and Dirrell can do it, because they are fast, and have great timing.
He threw it 7 times in one round vs De La Hoya.

Because they are not fast enough or dont have good enough timing. If you are good at it, its extremely hard to counter, its upsets the opponents rhythm and you can pretty much expand off it with anything you want because you are making the opponent constantly lower his guard.

Morales was severaly faded in that fight too. Infact the 2nd fight mirrored the first until Morales finally wore down.

As I said Mayweather would have blasted that Morales out of the ring in 5 rounds.

Unlike Pacquiao who lost to him, and lost the 1st half of the 2nd fight aswell.

Mich, don't bother. He knows that Floyd......deep down is a better body puncher than Pacquiao.

Like a 150+lbs Mayweather "blitzed" a bloated sluggish 142lbs Marquez?

Power is a crucial aspect of punching dumbass. :patsch

The question is not: "Who has the better bodypunching technique?"

The question is who is the better bodypuncher overall.

Power + Technique = a great puncher. :deal

Yep. :good Once Manny was able to land like 3 straight lefts to the body with no response from Shane, I knew it was going to be a long night for Shane.

He already said it. He's just arguing just to argue now. Typical popkins.

No historical fighters at all then?

It's a highly risky punch, where the risk does not equal the reward. That's why the VAST majority of fighters don't use it.
