    Easy:

Haye (until the fight he was considered by many the saviour of the HW division. I dont know why not anymore)
    Chagaev (legit undefeated WBA Champ)
Byrd 2 (legit long time IBF champ and Ring magazine no. 1)
Peter 1 (Betting favorit vs. Klitschko. Only time that Klitschko was underdog.)
    Brewster 2
    Brock
    Peter 2

    True that.

When I saw Haye climbing off the floor to beat Monte Barrett, then saw him beat a guy Roy Jones beat 7 years earlier and James Toney beat 5 years earlier, then saw him scrape an ugly decision against the worst heavyweight champion in boxing history, I thought...

    this is the Saviour.

    Byrd 2
    Haye
    Chagaev
    Brewster 2
    Peter I
    Peter II
    Brock

Byrd= underrated ATG. Quiblle all you will about the circumstances, he had beaten Vitaly, Holyfield, and Tua, and was fairly long reigning titlist.

Haye- Two division champ with with wins over Moreck, Macarelli, Barret, Valuev, Ruiz and Harrison. Great win.

Chagaev- undefeated champ at the time, but seemed to be deteriorating in every match. And his hepititis had jsut been exposed. Good win

Brewster II- avenged a defeat. Would have been much higher if Lamon had anything left in the tank.

Peter I- best actual competative fight of the bunch. Peter was at his best and Wlad was at his lowest, and the fight was to determine who would go on. Still it has subsequently become painfully apparent that Peter just isn't that good.

Peter II- Peter had already been exposed as a limited tough man type fighter who's best days were already beaten out of him by big brother Vitaly.

Brock- I really like the guy and pray that he recovers sight in his eye, but he never proved a thing. A good defense against a contender who had earned his shot by beating a few fringe contenders. God bless Mr. Brock, but its just not all that impressive of a win.

Personally, I would love to see him do an optinaol defense agaisnt Sanders. I know Sanders got knocked out in 1 against Machimana and looked like a pregant woman, but they could give him 6 months to get in shape and hype it as a one shot deal against a guy who was always lethal when in shape and never realized his potential because he was always out of it.

As for best guys in order?

Chris Byrd --- THe best guy he beat but really was outgunned, and Wlad all wrong for him...And couldnt even use his strengths vs Wlad.

Prime Mccline - id give a prime Jameel a slight edge over the guys below him..Even a faded one gave Peter,Brock trouble.. I think the Wlad beating took a little off Mccline. Mccline might have actually been Wlads most dangerous opponent ever..IN that he was same height, heavier, power good jab, chin and solid skills.... This is probably his best win as far as threat....And wlad dominated him..

Calvin Brock,Eddie Chambers,Tony THompson,David Haye not much sepearating these guys if they all fought each other they might come out with similar recoreds....THompson might be the most difficult something about him plus he hasnt done much since,

Sam Peter the more dangerous than the the 4 i just mentioned but,hed most likely his ears boxed off. Just a wild tough puncher in the first wlad fight....And a faded slow fat boy in the 2nd...He was best against Toney in the rematch, a real short prime.

Lamon Brewster -- Maybe his best because he avenged a loss but really,,Brewster was never that good, just a big punch and a good chin. Pulled a hail mary in his 2 biggest wins.

Axel Schulz ---- Was a little faded then the one who was robbed vs Foreman and BOtha, but still a good fighter and id rate even this version over Chageauv,

Russel Chageauv- He was alright but faced right opponents at the right time..Would be a gate keeper in the 80s 90s or at best flash in the pan bottom tier contender.

Sultan Ibragimov - Had some good skills good fighter but too small and couldnt really punch.. No hoper though vs Wlad

Davarryl Williamson -Sultan Ibragimov.... WIllimason dangerous and did better than expected vs Wlad,,they kind of had unfinished buisness...But Willamson just a puncher, weak chin and a gate keeper....

Just checked out the last 2 pages..U guys really underestimate a prime Mccline.Either that or your newbs and dont remember that Mccline was highly regarded and just came off big wins over still very dangerous Briggs and Lance Whittaker(underrated in his short prime).

You guys are picturing the faded sometimes inshape mostly out of shape version... I really think prime Mccline would beat all the contenders out there today outside of the Klit bros(some of them easy)... Check out his fight with WHittaker,Briggs or his blowout of still ranked Michael Grant.

If Haye retires now then I fail to see how Haye is the best name on Wlad's resume? What makes his name better than Peter, Byrd or Ibragimov?!

Who has Haye beaten at HW to prove he could beat all of wlads opponents? Byrd,Peter,Brewster,Mccline,Chambers have better wins than Haye...And the guys on par or better.. Chageaav beat the same guys but slightly younger versions.. Hayes resume really isnt that good 10or 15 yearsago it would have been just good enough to get him a lower top 10 ranking...

**** Bruce Seldon had wins were as good as Hayes.

The sad truth is all those guys who talked up the Wlad - Haye fight as a "defining fight" were wrong, even more so if Haye retires now and leaves no lasting HW legacy. That will reduce Haye to a random nobody in a sea of contenders who couldn't hang with Wlad.

Are we talking abiut Wlad's best performances or most significant wins?

    Here are the best wins:

Byrd 2 - Byrd was #1 at the time
Chagaev - Chagaev was #3 with wins over top ten guys, and un-defeated
    Peter 1 -
    Brewster 2
    Haye
    Peter 2
    Brock

Note: I think Ibragimov belongs on the list.
