Canelo's a little too big for Morales...although I heard he dreamt of knocking him out when he was nine months old...

I just love this bunch of morons trying to look smart by analizing Ortiz comments. #1. He is doing his promotion part. #2. For a kid starting in boxing to say "i will ko that guy one day" he doesnt have to think about weight classes, records, belts, or any other bull****. What is the big ****ing deal??

this is why this fight is almost a sure mismatch. people are banking that floyd is on a slide for this fight to be competitive. even floyd thinks this is just a tune-up for him.

The point is that he probably had never heard of Floyd Mayweather Jr. when he was 9.

Of course, we don't know for sure - but it's pretty far fetched that he knew who FMJ was. How many nine year old kids closely follow the Olympics? Even if he did, do you really think he randomly singled out the guy that happened to bronze for the US at featherweight and made a Big Important Life Decision that "someday, I'm going to knock that dude out!" ?

Also, Victor's quote from the actual press conference (not that interview in the Youtube video in the OP; I mean the actual press conference) was something to the effect of "When I was nine years old, I knew that I was going to become the welterweight champion of the world and then knock Mayweather out!" - so the kid just starting in boxing was thinking about weight classes and belts if we're to believe his story.

Ummm yes counters from very very agressive fighters which floyd is not. Floyd is perfect for ortiz and he is much much more vulnerable to pressure fighters that can bang with him and beat him at his own muscle game.

Í´m looking forward to a good fight but the more i see tapes of both and compare styles í´m leaning my 100 bucks on victor.

I hope his dream comes true...............Void is void and is afraid of Pac. He will never fight Pac, his fear is too great. When will Void beat up another woman?

This matchup actually is REALLY intriguing. Theres still a lot of questions surrounding moneymay's stamina, I mean since he's fought what twice in the last however many years. And we have seen Floyd get caught by southpaws like chopchop and zab. I really hope Ortiz comes in EVEN better shape than he did vs. Berto. Cause he would not let up vs. Berto.

I also want to see whats going to happen with Bradley vs. Pacquiao. Bradley had a good performance vs. Alexander, but I didn't see technical skills shine... doesn't bode too well for Bradley.

Anything to hype the fight up. Ortiz beat Berto, but he also showed how reckless he could be. This is why he was able to get knocked down, even though he came back to win. Floyd is a far better fighter then Berto probably would ever be. Where going to see Ortiz throwing bombs all night trying to KO Floyd. I hope Ortiz has a plan B, like boxing, once he sees that plan A is not working.

Yeah I agree. Victor could still raise his stock in defeat if he comes after Floyd like he did Bertoe for 12 rounds.
