However Williams goes about proving that point, trainer and manager George Peterson said there hasn't been any adjustments to the fighter's style because of the knockout loss.

"It is a punch that is not seen. You can't make an adjustment for something you cannot see," Peterson said. "It's like the wind blowing. We can't see the wind, but it's there. I have been hearing quite a lot about that punch and if we made an adjustment. You don't go to the gym every day and practice for a punch you don't see. It's as simple as that." :patsch

OH ok George, that makes sense. Since it was a punch he didn't see there's no need to make changes like i don't know, headmovement, fighting tall, keeping your hands up to protect from shots you don't see.

Its like wind huh.??? You may not can see it, but you know its there and you wear a jacket or a windbreaker to protect youself. You may not see all the punches coming but proper technique and fundamentals can help you avoid getting KOed by shots that you don't see. Obviously this is lost on George. Paul's talent is going to waste.:-(

i once posted an article here of an interview with george peterson, he says paul's training is 95% conditioning and that he doesn't focus much on technique, he said something like "if you learn to jab you always remembers it, no point on going over it again and again"

Yeah he has tremendous conditioning, but Damn, you'd think getting schooled by Quintana would've taught him that he had some serious flaws that needed working on.

    Sadly this is true.

He is right Paul Williams is not going to change how he fights now. And even I he did fight tall and had a tight D it was still a shot that you dong see so your probs going to get hit with it anyway

The punch that Williams didn't see, connected regularly throughout both bouts.

The mother ****er had his hands down to his waste when he got hit with that un seen shot, did you atleast work on keeping them ****ing hands up a bit better? Paul gets stopped again tonight, I dont think you can recover from that kind of knock down this quickly he should not have choosen Lara
Props to him in doing so, Williams has trouble with South paws... here we go again.

I have been saying this for quite some time. Paul Williams has not improved a single bit since he burst onto the scene with that Margarito win and his trainer should be ashamed of himself. I don't know why boxers are so loyal to people that are obviously not good enough for the elite level.

I have always enjoyed watching P.Will fights for this sole reason... (Style)
The guy is fun to watch he is a ****en windmill who takes massive amounts of punches.

Now coming off a major loss like the S. Martinez deal, This is going to be fun to see.
