A properly Juiced up Roided out Evander whose heart is working well was a dangerous fighter.

Vitali wouldn't know how to deal with him.

    Holyfield TKO 9.

Edit: Vitali gets stopped on cuts or quits on stool

Vitali wide UD. Holyfield never gets inside, gets oulanded and outboxed on the outside. He is tough enough and good enough boxer to make it to the final bell.

Holyfield would take Vitali to school. Vitali brings nothing to the table that Holyfield hasn't dealt with before.

Vitali does not stop Holyfield either.

Holy up on all cards, UD.

    Non-puncher?

He had the Highest KO% in HW Champ history.

Byrd was not beating Vitali...take a look at the scorecards:

judge: Melvina Lathan 88-83 | judge: Ruben Garcia Dr. 89-82 | judge: Joachim Jacobsen 88-83

Byrd would have had to win the last 3 rounds and have knocked Vitali down 3 times in the process to win...does that seem reasonable for Chris Byrd to do?

Vitali would not hurt Holyfield. Vitali's power is overrated, I don't think he would even knock holy down.

Vitali brings nothing to the table that Holy hasn't seen before?

He is much bigger than anyone Holy has fought...he was about 3' taller than Lewis and Bowe.

Vitali has a far better workrate, better chin, and better defense than Lewis and Bowe, too.

how does a slow ponderous jab keep a fast holyfield away

holy would double even treble that jab into vitali's face all night long

vitali is a basic but effective fighter , holyfield has everything , jab , decent right hand , great left hook , bodywork , combinations , speed , footwork.

far too much for the wooden vitali

    Vitali is deceptively fast.

Vitali throws hooks from all angles and uppercuts. He also doesn't sit down on all his punches...sometimes he punches through the target and sometimes he tags them, depends.

Keep in mind the Vitali you have been watching is a 39 year old man and he will be for when he fights Adamek, but he will still stop him.

Vitali has great defense...he doesn't get hit with that many punches. He is a very accurate counterpuncher also.

All of his knockouts are accumulation. He couldn't hurt guys like Sanders, corpse Briggs, Peter, with triple figure flush shots.

Go and watch the Byrd fight and don't post judges scorecards, we are talking about boxing here, what's the validity of a judges card.

Exactly. Reminds me of Calzaghe v Lacy.

Prime Vitali didn't have the knee injuries which meant he could use his legs to garner much more power.

End of the day he has KO/TKO'd all but 3 of his opponents.

Byrd is a bad style match-up for Vitali.

Someone like Holy who continually comes forward would be in serious trouble.

holy in his prime doesnt always come forward

holy could box his way to a win vs vitali or holy could brawl to a win vs vitali

basically holy is just a much better fighter than vitali
