By "in numbers" I take it you mean "there's two of them"? Yes. Two fighters have never dominated the heavyweight division (not the sport) so handily before. Of course, this isn't a team sport but when did that ever occur to a Klitschko fan?
Not only is that complete horse ****, but also has no relevance to the post you were replying to. Well done.:good
As long as they still are active, might aswell call the division for the KlitschKO division. Jokes aside. People just cannot accept the fact, these guys have dominated this division, for years now. I hope that Vitaly beats Adamek, and then retire. But i seriously don't hope that the upcomming WBC-champion after Vitaly holds it as hostage, because of the HW scene must be saved blablabla.. and so on. I really hope that Wlad becomes the Undisputed HW champion, and then as soon as he does it, he can retire for good. Then he acomplished everything that you possibly can in the boxing world, and he doesn't wait till he gets old, and then suddenly run into a suprising defeat
Seriously? :huh It's very simple. Wladimir's last loss was 04, Vitali 03. We are now in 2011. That's a combined 11 straight years (15 including Vitali's 04-08 retirement) without a loss.
Are you really that dense? Or just extremely biased? My guess is probably a little of both. Look, it's NOT hard to understand. I'm showing them together, because they are BROTHERS who hold all of the titles. Something like this in the heavyweight division has NEVER happened before, and probably won't happen again for a very long time, if ever. If you cannot see, understand, and comprehend the historical significance of this....well, there's not much hope for you. Their goal was to hold all of the titles at once, and now it's reality. I understand it completely. And as I've already pointed out, boxing is a solo affair. If the quirkyness of the fact they are brothers amuses you so much, you should get out more. Yes, it may not happen again, but, so what? In any other world, why would two fighters winning all the belts be a massive achievement? Surely if one of them won them all, wouldn't that be better? You're putting too much emphasis on DNA and not enough on greatness. The fact they are brothers (a tag team) and claiming that is unifying the division, is what is harming boxing.
I'm certain if they were from the UK, your view would be different. Every post of yours concerning a Klitschko is skeptical, bashing, or discrediting, in some way. You are a hater, pure and simple. It's of HISTORICAL significance. It's hard enough for a SINGLE fighter to be the best in the division. We are talking about 2 brothers, head and shoulders about everyone else in the division. If it's one single holder of all the belts that you want, don't worry, that will come too. When Vitali retires Wladimir will grab that belt, and control all of them.
Wlad is doing pretty much what Larry Holmes did in an uninspiring Heavyweight Division and that is beating everyone put in front of him. That is all he can do. Should not be penalized for that.
Yes, it has a historical significance. But only a superficial one. And you've already pointed to the bigger issue: It's harder for a single fighter to unify the division than for two fighters to do it. Lets hope Wlad doesn't have to win a title vacated by Vitali. That would make him a paper champion!:hey
No, that's not what I was saying. I was saying that it's hard for ONE person to be on top of the division. It's even HARDER for two people who are BROTHERS to BOTH be on top of the division at the same time.
Aaaaw, feeling a bit defensive are we? Trying to dig up something from past posts because you are out of your depth on this issue? Lol. Good. Work hard, ****** boy. The fact you've had to go hunting round the internet just to try and make me look bad causes me great amusement.
