Surprised Lewis hasn't been mentioned along with the usual suspects.

The first supposed stoppage against McCall was a farce, he's clearly up at 9. The KO against Rahman was due to poor conditioning and a punch that would have KO'd just about anyone it connected flush with.

Aside from those two occasions Lewis was rarely even wobbled.

I personally think that no one has been tested as much as and has proven like granite as much as George Chuvalo.

George Chuvalo for the best chin, all the others mentioned in this thread were also up there.

Ali was up there in terms of taking punishment, mixed it with the biggest hitters. In fact his conditioning and ability to soak it up was one of the best too. Obviously the heart he showed in the ring got him into problems he had after his career. Although Ali had been put down a few times in his career, some of these other guys I'm not sure about, they were almost unshakeable. But as we saw with Margarito at WW, everyone has a breaking point.

As for McCall, anyone who has seen Al Pacino in scarface knows cocaine has a funny way of allowing the body to take punishment.

Who's Vitaili Kiltschko faced, to get him a mention. Lennox Lewis in my opinion would of TKO'ed him, if the fight was aloud to carry on. Lennox Lewis was out of shape for that fight, but his share physical strengths even dwarfed both Kiltschko bothers. There was no technique or timing that night, when Lennox Lewis fought Kiltschko!

"These are just the people, that spring to mind.

The most durable chins in history i think are.

    Evander Holyfield
    Goerge Foreman
    Muhammad Ali

    Other solid chins.

    Mike Tyson
    David Tua

    Other Solid Chins.

Lennox Lewis......"Whoever beleaves that Lennox Lewis had a glass chin or below average chin is "Dizzy and don't know boxing" i've had people in boxing, who has phoned me, and said.... Nahhh seriously, Lennox Lewis broke Shannon Briggs heart, when he took his best 1-2 punch combination, dropped his hands and smiled at him, and proceeded to knock Briggs out. Then Ray Mercer landed some serious heat, Gary Mason, Frank Bruno Landed some bombs", the list goes on.........Lennox Lewis in my opinion the punches that Oliver Mccall landed, Lennox Lewis got up, and was stopped on his feet. And also against Shannon Briggs, he was up after 10......"And that was a bomb, that Lennox Lewis ran into". Lennox Lewis throughout his whole career, when he was tagged......"Always always fought back, and always had that competitive streak within him".

"Overall, i think Goerge Foreman has the best punch resistant in history".

I always remember when Evander Holyfield landed all those punches on foreman. George Foreman was the most physically bruit strong heavyweight of all-time, superhuman bull dosing strength. His greatest assets weren't any of his skills, because lets be really honest he was really primitive. "But the man was just superhuman"......."Only two things can hurt Superman, Kryptonite and George Foreman"

Lennox took some tidy shots in that video. That right hand Vitali landed sounded like a train hit him. People that say he has a Glass Jaw should take a long hard look at that.
