This fight is a bit boring imo. They both punch non-stop but there is the feeling that neither can knock a dent in warm butter.

Some people like seeing this (Iike seeing small dogs fights). Personally I think that without a serious threat of KO at any moment.... it quickly becomes somewhat boring.

At least Simion is fighting guys with winning records.
His 11th fight his opponent was 30-9.

    I think we're missing an 8 rounder?

    Round 2

Simion is sharpening up slightly, dropping lead rights to the body and flicking up jabs on his way in. Talape is hooking with his right timidly while trying to preserve space. They're coming together a lot, colliding into clinches and almost bumping heads. Simion is driving Talape all across the ring with jabs to the body. Talape skirts along the ropes. Simion has a good tight guard and his chin tucked. Talape ducks down and shoeshines under his elbows before darting out. Simion misses a right hand, but lands one a moment later as Talape resets on the outside and fails to get his hands up in time. Talape slaps with a lead left. Simion charges in and pounds away at him with short punches against the ropes.

    20-18 Simion

Competitive round, but I think Simion took it, just don't feel like his opponent is landing cleanly enough.

    20-18 Simion

This is the last live match before Bute-Mendy.

The rest of the card is complete.

We might see St. Juste vs. Zepeda and/or Usarov vs. Gomez on delay if there's a quick KO.

    Round 3

Right to the body by Simion. Now some combos, flashing his hands into Talape's face as the Pinoy drifts off. They trade jabs cautiously from outside. Talape ducks down to lob a left to the body. Now Talape is getting cocky, leaning in with his chin hanging out to tuck his fists underneath and attack the body. Suddenly Simion closes the distance and hammers him with a very long combo, mixing head and body shots and rocking Talape around as he hits him on the guard and above his hips. Talape is warned for using his head in the clinches. (2nd warning) Simion targets the body with his right hand. Talape is dancing around him on his toes and reaching in with right hooks and light jabs. Both toss out jabs and miss from long range for the last twenty seconds.

    30-27 Simion

Talape started off the 3rd well, but in the latter part of the round Simion came on strong, and I think hurt Talape quite a bit. Close round but simion edges it again on my card.

    30-27 Simion

What the heck with the bell?

That guy is fighting from southpaw stance like Pac. That's where similarities between them end.

Does Talepe remind anyone else of Pac just a bit? His style, his movement, etc?
