I would say that the rest of the year looks ****ing awesome. Good fights in July and next month. Solid ESPN and FSS fights too. Peterson/Cayo on FNF. Khan/Judah is going to be a hell of a fight. Floyd in Sept. Maidana/Robert G...looking forward to this one big time. Pac/JMM 3 in Nov. Cotto/Margo 2 in Dec. **** what else do we want?
Aside from a superfight going down as one of the worst games of tag I have ever watched, its been an amazing year, and this year we are actually seeing NEW STARS DEVELOP!!! Also we are finally starting to see loaded cards....Even if you hated every single fight this whole year, boxing as a whole is starting to get its **** together (or so it seems) and that makes 2011 spectacular thus far.
It has a lot of upside. But it's been a bit of a disappointment. Almost a haze to think about. I can't quite separate 2011 from 2010.
A damn good year. Lots of exciting fights occurring almost every weekend. Even the big name stinkers had some importance to them (Pac/Mosley and Wlad/Haye). Floyd/Ortiz, Pac/JMM 3, Vitali/Adamek, Super Six Finals, Cotto/Margarito, and hopefully some more big and exciting fights to come. A damn good year.
How can anybody hate on 2011 so far? This year was looking very good just in March, now it's July and we had big and exciting fights and the rest of the year is looking as good
Well, we got everything we wanted so far and we're going to get more later on. Pacquiao v Mosley Ortiz v Berto [WAR] Arce v Vasquez Jr [WAR] Donaire v Montiel [BRUTAL KNOCKOUT] Afolabi v Dunstan [BRUTAL KNOCKOUT] Khan v McCloskey Haye v W. Klitschko [THE BIGGEST HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT IN YEARS] Maidana v Morales [WAR] And this is what we've got coming up. Fury v Chisora V. Klitschko v Adamek Khan v Judah Mayweather Jr v Ortiz Pacquiao v Marquez III [FIRST TWO FIGHTS WERE WARS] Cotto v Margarito II [FIRST FIGHT WAS A WAR] Maidana v Guerrero It's been a great year. Every fight that the fans genuinely want have been made, and some more are being made! I don't know what else you can ask for, besides V. Klitschko v Haye, Arreola v W. Klitschko, or Pacquiao v Mayweather Jr.
