Not top 3 of course no. Though the way ESB operates, you'll see people say Floyd is a top 3 atg after he beats Pacquiao. Guarantee it. They said Bernard was a top 10 atg after Pascal.
But seriously, whoever wins this fight will be top 20 atg in my book

My opinion is that manny has a lot of hype surrounding him as of now due to all his recent success. Boxing fans will see that manny wasn't as great as the media hype made him out to be after Floyd beats him.

I'm sure casual fans will think Floyd is Sugar Ray Robinson and act like they were on Mayweather's ship the entire time once he beats manny, but that's a very different group compared to boxing fans.

I think it'll help Floyd's legacy somewhat to beat manny. Beat manny and Khan after Ortiz then call it a day.

he's already an ATG but i don't know if he would be ranked as a top 3 best fighter who ever live by beating pacquiao. after all, he is expected to beat pacquiao by many experts. maybe beating pac at 147, martinez at 160 and then proceeds to beat the top 2 guys in super six at 168 then there could be an argument for floyd. just remember, pac has already did all these stuffs when he was at 130 and no one is expeting him to beat the top guys at 140 and 147 and some people still won't rank pac as top 20.

    Top 3? No way.

I'm not even sure he'd make top 3 welterweight tbh.

Robinson, leonard, armstrong and maybe even, at a push, napoles would still be ahead of him.

But if he followed it up with 3 more victories over guys (khan, bradley and berto/zavek at ww, cotto, williams and alvarez at lmw, martinez at mw) then he'd crack top twenty lists definitely.

For him to get top 3 he'd have to beat the s6 winner, hopkins and wlad. But considering how many boxer hate graced this sport top twenty is amazing.

Leonard whooped Benitez, Duran, Hearns, and Hagler and is only arguably top 15 ATG. How does beating manny propel someone into the Top 10 ATG let alone 3?:nut

Floyd does not have the fire power or experience at 147 to hang w/ Manny.
He has top 5 best natural skills but wasted his
    prime like RJJ.

What about just dominating a weight division for years to come? What's with this new weight jumping fad? We have Sugar Ray who put in most his work in two weight divisions and is considered the best ever by the majority of people.

that would do if you have a couple of pacquiaos and mayweathers at the weight. as it is, the weight has no more tough challenge for their caliber that it would be necessary to beat the top guys at the higher weight to simulate the challenge of great fighters at your own weight.
