People say that, but have never seen Asians (in Asia) actually eat. I have watched old women eat combination plates that I would have no chance at finishing. :yep

    Not everybody rides a bike.

I'm a vegetarian and I hate vegetables. Carbs is all I have and I'm the skinniest **** I know (130pounds, 5'8'). I don't eat too much processed junk food like sodas, fries, chips, white bread, white pasta, white rice, flour, sugar etc.

I eat mostly oatmeal, beans, corn, brown rice, wheat bread, wheat pasta, and tons of bananas.

I dont know if anyone here will be able to answer my question but it's worth a shot.Hey everyone, my brother has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and he's lost all motivation to workout since he's unsure on whether he can still use his supplements, incase it will affect his blood sugars to much. Reason why I'm posting here is so I can show him that theres many people that go through the same thing and that he's not alone in this. I want him to get off his butt!! Anyways, my question is whether there are supplements that he should and shouldn't use if so, could anyone point us in the right direction of the

available for those with diabetes, if that is the case. Thank you very much, and any motivational statements that I could show him to help him back to where he was would be awsome!!!

Carbs aren't the problem any more than fats or proteins are. The problem is eating too much.

  12. Atkins diet etc......?

You’re not differentiating between overweight and athlete.

    Reason for the question.

the main reason people are overweight is from over eating.
carb,protein,fat...matters a lot less than portion size. portions have gotten much bigger in the last 20yrs and obesity and diabetes has increased.
the simple scientific calculation that has not changed since the start of mankind is calories in vs calories out...if you consume more calories than you burn off, you gain weight...
