Plus that "draw" against chavez jr in their first fight was a highway robbery.

Damn it. Finally back on the stupid Top Rank Live stream.

Was the KD in the 1st, Swarmy?

So we're starting with Gesta at 10-8.

    Round 2

Gesta is throwing quick right hooks while following Pimentel around and watching him calmly. Pimentel is a blur of activity, trying to escape to either side and blast Gesta with quick pot shots. Gesta drops him with a big uppercut. Pimentel is shaken but able to take his feet. Pimentel reaches in with looping shots all while circling away. Gesta landing few but better.

    10-8 Gesta

    20-16 Gesta

    Round 3

Gesta assumes command over the middle of the ring, striking a statuesque pose as Pimental just sprints around him. Wild overhands by Pimentel. Body shots by Pimentel, scoring a bit better. Gesta is cool as a cuke, just waiting for his spots. Big right hook. Now Gesta gets going, REALLY fast combos!! Wow! Thrown effortlessly, and not gassing after whipping Pimentel several times to the body. Then Gesta calmly gets back into his slow pressuring rhythm. Pimentel dashes off to the side and claps down at Gesta. Now Pimentel circles outside. Gesta watches and takes baby steps toward him. Pimentel dodges just out of the way of a right hook. BIG 1-2 BY GESTA!!! PIMENTEL DOWN HARD!!!!! BELL RINGS!!! REF DOES NOT CARE!!! NOT SAVED BY THE BELL!!!! KO!!

    KO2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this kid a lot; composed, picks shots very well, great punch variety, and understands that being a southpaw ain't about jabbin a lot; it's about taking advantage of the other dude's jab. A killah, i say. a KILLAH!

Gesta? Fine. Conserved his energy well and didn't lose intensity, but it's three rounds, you know.

It was a terrific KO and Gesta isn't even breathing hard. Gesta knocked him pretty much out cold with a single left hand. Pimentel looked like he was about to recover and try to scramble up to show the referee he was OK, but it was not very convincing. He went down very hard.

I like that move by the ref, not allowing Pimentel to be saved by the bell.
