Cintron was just pathetic , you cant blame all this on ring rust , dude is just not mentally fit anymore to fight . Molina pushed him from the beginning and Cintron mailed it in .

I agree. It was a combination of Cintron sucking and Molina just being "on".

Even had Cintron let his hands go and moved better I'm not sure the result would be any different.

A lot of that should be credited to Molina, IMO. Cintron didn't like getting hit when he opened up and just went into a mental shell early on.

He started off OK in the first two rounds, so I wouldn't agree with anyone saying it was just an off night for Cintron and that Molina was just lucky to meet such a crappy version.

    So Cintron is shot?

Lame, he never really deserved all the hate, he used to be pretty good.

I'm glad Gus finally toned down his "excitement" when discussing the death of boxing figures.

Any of you guys remember when Cintron was getting pushed to the limit by Jesse Feliciano? The guy was always afraid of pressure and would mentally check out of fights, if the fighter could take his power Cintron would really fold, look at his flopping against Margo and Sergio and his jumping out of the ring against Paul

Bouie Fisher, George Kimball and Nick Charles.

Not as well known as that trio, but this month was as much a big loss for boxing as the one where Arguello, Forrest and Gatti all passed.

If memory serves, Soto-Antillon wasn't anywhere near as close as the cards or as some people made it out. Competitive yes, but Soto bagged enough rounds to win it going away. I remember thinking a rematch would be fun, but not at all necessary.
