Josh Koscheck Accepts Stephan Bonnar's Challenge: Fight at 185?

Wow if its true Bonnar will be a zombie after the weight cut, he said that the heaviest he weight when he`s not cutting weight was 247

 

Bonnar would have to cut off a leg to make 185.

 

Bonnar fighting at 185 is an even more stupid idea than Marquardt fighting at 170. When are these dudes going to realize that even if they somehow harm themselves enough to make it on the scales, they'll still be an absolute ****ing walking corpse by fight-time?

Irvin was once a heavyweight. Albeit a steroid induced one. Suffice to say to my knowledge i don't think his ever made 85 since. He look like a skeleton at the weighin.

 

I find that incredibly hard to believe.

 

On the other side of the coin, remember Kenny 'Sugar Tits' Florian fighting at 185??

 

Me too, unless he just got that fat between fights. There is no way he was a lean 247.

 

I have to give Kenny his props. He's the incredible shrinking man. **** knows how he does it. Although his rib cage looks like he has an Alien about to burst out of it.

 

Lean or even fat he just doesn't have the build to carry that kind of weight. I know Rampage has been as high as 300lbs but when you saw him in between fights in PRIDE he was one BIG dude. He's been that weight also since his early 20's. Bonnar on the other hand is a lithe 205lbs.

 

Rampage heighest weight was 270 but Bonnar is 2in taller. He could fight at HW, Velasquez is basicly a fat LHW and he is champ at 265

 

There are leaner fighters out there, but even at 244lbs, I wouldn't call Velasquez fat. Cain is leaner than Fedor, and outweighs Fedor by 15 pounds.

Velasquez may not look the part completley but thats his genetics , id say looking at Cain he's around 10 - 12% body fat max !!! , and he weighs 245 , he aint a LHW bro :deal
