why has vanes mortirosyan got worse?

    i was watching some his early sparring sessions and early fights and he looked very skilled. he looks technical and very smart in some of the footage but his last fight he seems to have lost something. his foot work is bad and he seems to have become one dimentional. is it me or has he gotten worse?

    I haven't actually seen him fight yet but I thought he looked promising in the JCC JR sparring session

    He hasnt got worse I think, its probably thats his quality of opponent has increased.

    the last video was in 2006. i know the sparring partner wasn't great but look at the skill on the inside. the punch selection, picking his shots beautifully. i think roach imo doesn't teach fighters how to use advance skill. he likes to mold guys into sharp in and out combination punchers. maybe like someone said, they aren't a good match for each other.

    nearly had it right. its funny the starts usually the part i get right. its the i and y i usually get mixed up. weird ****ing name though.

    im sure thats true to a certain extent but he's definatly not moving like you used to. he doesn't role with the punches, use lateral movement(which is odd cus roach loves that) and his timing just seems off. im sure he has more talent than he's showing.
