I think Rios is one of those fighters that can carry his weight well if he moves up. In my opinion Rios pressure and the way he puts his punches so well with intention on both hands could be a problem for Khan at any point in any round.

Good fight, rios could win. Rios vs maidana would be awesome as well

    Even.

  6. rios is a bum who fought the weakest lightweight champion and is milking it against super-bums, dont mention them in the same sentence, khan has been consistently fighting the best/top 10 opposition now for a while

don't worry guerrero is having his coming out party against maidana and then Rios can move up to challenge him.

I agree...Rios is a very big lightweight. Khan is a big 140 lb. fighter though and will probably move up to WW before Rios goes to 140.

This is a very tough style matchup for Khan.

Rios cut off the ring pretty well against Acosta's movement.

Khan is there to be hit if Rios cuts off the ring. Khan's footwork is poor and would likely get the ring cut off on him. Rios has better footwork than Maidana, and Maidana was able to get Khan on the ropes, because Khan so often went back in straight lines instead of circling.

I think Morales is too old and Khan would make him look even older.

Maidana has the right type of style for Morales to use his ring savvy and skills against to fight effectively. I don't think Khan does.

If Rios carries his power to 140lbs, Bam Bam rapes that ass...Rios' style is all wrong for Khan.
