I do think taking a knee can be good strategy and doesn't indicate a deficiency in heart/cojones. As long as the person doesn't quit. Knees to recover are acceptable. Cintron has looked on the verge of quitting in almost all his big (or even just difficult) fights. Cotto and Calderon have had the tar beaten out of them and kept taking their licks like men (even after being forced to take knees).
