It's always nice to have a look! but to be honest i never went after a boxing fight! or i was too drunk or i was too exited by the fight!

The only time i went there i didn't have to pay nothing! there's stippers dancing everywhere!

Best strip club I ever been to hands down, no ****in' competition even remotely close, was like walking distance (so I was told, Or maybe boating distance:D) from the Border. Was in Northern Wisconsin.

It's Battling Nelson. Former LW champion and conqueror of the great Joe Gans.

The pic is shortly before his death. Battered, broke and destitute. :(

He was one of he bravest men to ever enter the prizering. He was known for his ability to take punishment. He had papers from doctors that he was inhuman; that he didn't feel pain the way 'normal' people did. Nicknamed the durable dane for a reason.

He lost his considerable earnings in the wall street crash in 1929, but struck gold again when his parents died, but at that time his tormented brain had given up and all was conned and wasted away.

He died lonely and completely bonkus.

There's a lot of great reads on his life including the bitter story on him and nemesis Ad Wolgast.

    My pleasure.

Here's a couple of really excellent articles describing the old time prizefighters and the bitter feud of Nelson and Wolgast. Recommended reading for anyone with an interest in the history of the sport we love:
