Is Burns vs Cook the least anticipated All British world title fight ever?

I once called him "Scotch" instead of Scottish just to be a bit of an obtuse arse and he hasn't forgiven me since. I like him though, I wish more posters were like him in my computer.

 

Obviously the guy has just drank from the plastic bottles, you have to buy a glass bottle of Irn-Bru as its made with scottish water, & tastes much better, & thats the truth btw!

 

Ricky Burns is a World Champion, a really nice guy and a very improved fighter too.

FFS, there are so many haters on here it is pathetic. As I have said before on other 'Ricky Burns hate threads' - at least you are not being asked to purchase a PPV for his fights. And his fight with Cook is actually a lot better than his last two match ups....

 

It is slightly better yeah, and I have been a fan of Burns and was delighted when he won tht title. Still for a third world title defence, after two earlier easy defences, this isnt the type of opponent he should be fighting. I will let him off for this one, but his quality of oppnent has to improve soon. Whos his mandatory challenger anyway?

EDIT: Its Will Tomlinson, anyone know how good he is?

 

I dont think there is anyone who would disagree with that, but the usual suspects are still whinging about Burns as if every other interim/super and regular belt holder in every division is taking on the best in every fight

 

That midget Norwegian, a Commonwealth fighter and a Coked up Nicky Cook is taking it to some extreme though. Could have at least fought Terdsak.

But the other top fighters have fought at least one top 20 fighter in their last two fights, the same can't be said for Burns though. The other guys are fighting at least moderately capable fighters at world level, Burns hasn't done so yet, and that's the problem people have.

We are not hating on Burns Gasman, we are hating on these "World title Defences" he's making. Ricky is a nice guy and a good fighter but he has alot to prove imo.
