Mike Perez will be another David 'Tuaman' Tua, he will beat ex-beltholders like Sam Peter and Liakovich, but he loses to Klit brothers who are holding all the belts ransom.

most Cuban heavyweight who are great amateurs seem to lose the dedication once they get that freedom and eat there way to mediocrity but this kid looks like a 5'11 bull that has shown power and seems to be a quick starter. I do not know who manages him but that and the training part are very important. I like what I have seen and they way he has preformed so far but it remains to be seen how serious he will remain.

The world will never see another Mike Tyson and if we ever did it would not be that guy or any likeness of that guy.

Perez might win against top dudes like Helenius, Haye and Povetkin, yet he would have to be a awesome animal to take title belts off WK and VK.

Guys got power and tools on the offensive end.

Its up to him really how he does. I could see him being as good as Tua in his heyday.

But even David Tua had better footwork was much faster than this guy.

I don't think he's as good as either Mike Tyson or David Tua.

Anytime there is a guy who is 5'11 or 6' with a square build people want to call him the next Tyson or Tua. Tyson had not just a tremendous physique which was just a natural gift and not the product of weight lifting like many guys, and phenomenal speed of body and hand. That is what made him special was his tremendous power matched with his never before seen speed for a guy with his build.

This guy may be 5'11 or 6' with a square build but aside from that he is nothing like Mike Tyson. And his physique is not even comparable.

Saw him live a few times, he's fast and accurate with real power. could be as good as any bar the Klits if dedicated, a bit of doubt there.

XPERT post Fj360! Perez with his v.fast hands speed And ko power has teh potential to be a $uperstar if he dedicated his life to boxing. But Perez must try to keep below 240lbs or it will damage his stamina And speed.

Snubbing him by saying he is not the next Tyson? He is nothing like Tyson aside from being a shorter HW with a square build. Period.

And he doesn't look anything like Tyson did against Tyson's first 20 sub par opposition.

Does he have the skill to become the next Tyson? I don't see any traces that lead me to believe he could ever be in the same sentence as Mike Tyson.

I like Rakhim Chakhiev better as a comparison because at least he has some speed and footwork with the ability to cut the ring off.

I like his aggression and he seems to have some power but.......... Way way to early for Tyson or even Tua comparisons in my opinion... But we need a heavyweight on the scene to get excited about so I hope he does well...
