Decent enough opposition to be fair.

Don't know if it's been posted yet, apologies if so, but Mike Delaware-Vera's trainer-says that Andy Lee's going to be next up for Bryan. Basically, after a lot of complaining about the fact he won't get a fight with J.C.C Jr, he said:

"It looks like Andy Lee is the only man tough enough to say to Bryan, as my great friend Mills Lane used to say, 'Let's get it on!'"

I wouldnt mind seeing him against Coyle, but fat lad needs to drop the weight:good

Theres no way he can be as effective if he stays at 154 as when he was at 130. He needs to lose the weight over the next few fights and fight no higher than 135 imo.

This is from a separate thread on the Euro forum but if you are interested i'll submit it here as well.

    World light-fly(49kg) amature ratings.

With the world championships(and the top 8 qualifying for the Olympics) here are my top 16 ratings over the next few weeks starting at 49kg.

    1 Sheming (China)-who else.Olympic champ, Asian champ
    2 Serdamba(Mong)-World cahmp
    3 Barnes(Ireland)-Euro and Commonwealth champ
4 Ayrapetyan(Russia)- Russian champ, World bronze
    5 Ryanroeng(Thai) Asian silver
    6 Alizade(Azerbaijan) World youth , Euro gold.
    7 Galanov(Euro silver, Russian R-up
    8 Zhakipov(Kaz) Asai bronze.
    9 Medina(Dom Rep) Pan-Am first qualifer winner
10 Shin Jong (Kor) World silver but losing form?
11 Matellon(Cuba) weak weight for them but maybe their man?
    12 Y.Hernandez(Cuba) bronze in 2008 but fading?
    13 Edwards(GB) euro bronze
14 de la Neive(Spain) 2010 euro bronze, consistant performer.
    15 Danielyan(Arm)
    !6 Byrd(USA) Petroleum countries champ.
Pehlivan(Turkey), Barringa(Philippians) Quipo(Ecuador) and the Jap Inoue are live outsiders.
If Shening is to be beaten, look to Barnes(if he can avoid injury) or Serdamba, no-one else has the class or experience to beat him.

Jesus, that's shocking. As was his opponent. He's not that good at 130/135, I can't see him doing anything slightly good at 154 if steps up a level or two from that type of opponent. Is he planning on campaigning at that weight from now on? If that's the case, I actually think Mijares would stop him.

    Sweeney v Tims

    Eade v Mickey Coveney (dangerous!)

Henry Coyle to fight for the WBF title against Elio Cotena :patsch

Thats what the rumour mill says anyway.

Chris O'Brien officially calls out EVERY Irish fighter from Light Welter to Light Middle to face him on the Mayo bill and he will
