Holyfield with his Iron Chin took Haymakers from real HEAVYWEIGHT-Punchers Lewis And Tyson, But madhead Monger really thinks Haye can do stuff to Holyfield, cos Haye stunned glass jaw Wlad 1 time in 12 Rounds!
He fought off the backfoot and made Barrett and Ruiz chase him, there was more action because they gave him more clean openings than Wlad and Valuev. Hate Valuev all you want, the guy stays upright and keeps those 3 foot arms outstretched. There were openings, but Haye isn't the type to take even a hint of a risk.
Haye has overrated power @Heavyweight. Haye KO% @Heavy = 66% Haye KO's @Heavy = Bum Bonin Old Fragile-chin Barrett Old SHOT Ruiz Old Bum Fraudley
Not neccesarily. Biggs stopped Bey in the 6th and was cut very badly in the process as you know. What has Arreola done that makes you think hes better than Biggs? Biggs hung in pretty tough with better fighters in Tyson, Bowe and Lewis and has a decent win over Snipes with few fights. Arreola would probably get outboxed by the Biggs that fought Tyson.
Haye KOs Foreman 2 Haye KOs Young 5 Haye KOs Lye 1 Peraleta had Big George on ***** street and he couldn't break wet paper with his arm punches. Foreman got Koed by weak punching Ali. His chin is ****. Haye went the distance with Wlad..word. Why you keep waving bye for? I'm not running from you. I'm not like big George who ducked Quarry.
Biggs was LUCKY to have survived Bey, the cut warranted a stoppage. But, yeah, I give Biggs credit for rallying for the win. Arreola's nothing to write home about, but I think he hits harder and faster than Bey. Biggs did well against Bowe, but Tyson and Lewis knocked him from pillar to post. Biggs also stopped by Damiani and Mason. Biggs never developed into a convincing world-class fighter, was cashed in against Tyson, and perhaps damaged goods from the beginning of his career due to drugs. I don't think Arreola is necessarily any better, but stylistically I think he matches up well to beat Biggs.
we speak about the time when they faced tyson/wlad: Razor Ruddock vs Sam Peters - ruddock(from tyson fight) vs iron chin and big power peter (from Wlad 1), i think this would be pretty close Frank Bruno vs Shannon Briggs - Bruno would normaly beat briggs Larry Holmes vs Ray Mercer - larry holmes, shot to **** without a real preparation against an old mercer who was pretty active, i think mercer would take it Evander Holyfield vs David Haye - ugly fight where holyfield should take a late ko or decision Michael Spinks vs Tomas Adamek - close fight Buster Douglas vs Corrie Sanders (or Purrity or Brewster) - only this douglas can beat sanders, the normal douglas would get raped Tony Tubbs vs Eddie Chambers - chambers would clown tubbs and win a wide decision (chambers is pretty underrated here) Tyrell Biggs vs Chris Arreola - biggs should take it Tony Tucker vs Sultan Ibragimov - ibragimov would win 100%, he is pretty underrated here, too Trevor Berbick vs Chris Byrd - easy win for byrd James Smith vs Kevin Johnson - Both **** spoilers, no desire to decide who is the better spoiler Pinklon Thomas vs Ray Austin - thomas is head and shoulders above austin, but change austin with thompson or brock and it would look pretty different imo the era right now is stronger, the problem is that the klits are so ****ing dominant that everybody looks like c grade, but if you honest then you have to accept that wlad beat a lot of good fighters: byrd, chagaev, ibragimov, thompson, mccline, botha, haye, chambers, brock, peter from the first fight. these are by all standards pretty decent fighters who would be top 15 in every era, besides mccline and botha tyson had: bruno, ruddock, tubbs, berbick, spinks, who were decent when they fought him, to the real good ones he lost.
It would be unfair to mix Wladimir and Vitali's opposition. I will use only Wladimir's opposition against Tyson's opposition. I think the winner is Wladimir. They both dominated in weak eras. But I think the wins over Haye, Chagaev and Chambers make Wlad the clear winner.
With obvious, long-time trolls like Foreman Hook around you can never know. The Holmes-Mercer prediction to me seemed like him giving away that he was being sarcastic, but it could be that I'm over-estimating his knowledge of boxing and that is unaware of the Holmes-Mercer fight that already took place (with a prime Mercer being whipped by an even older Holmes).
