Another way to beat Floyd is to make him lead and not put him in the position of the counter puncher. That is what Castillo did at times and forced Floyd to attack first. I don't think that'd work anymore though because Floyd has developed and progressed a lot since then.
Wrong, too many rounds. 1-2, Mayweather adapts a lot quicker, and if you're attempting to just take his head off, he'll figure you out even quicker. Your main weapon is your jab and to be unpredictable. Nobody tries being on the backfoot with Mayweather. Let him come to you, people always think pressure is the tactic and it just isn't. Take the first few rounds and outjab him and then take off a bit. Give him the Roy Jones treatment.
