Over on the scene. Someone posted that WADA doesn't conduct testing. There role is that of an administrative body "to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against drugs in sport". But they still would have to rely on the USADA to actually conduct the test.

Out of there regional testers USADA is the agency that they trust the most.

"The USADA Protocol for Olympic and Paralympic Movement Testing is consistent with the WADA Code and outlines the organization's testing program".

Nor did I, just wanted to bait one of the clowns on here.

But to be truthful i used to be a big fan of floyd until he used these scurelous accusations to put off the Pac fight for as long as possible (Would'nt suprise me if Arum paid him) But IMHO the doping angle fits the Mayweather profile more so than pac. This on/off retirement thing don't sit well with me considering he's a walking talking meant to be prize fighter.

In short the guy is saying that asking for WADA to test would be like asking the CEO of a company to personally run one of its stores.

Who knows. Floyd is paranoid that Pac is on Ped's, and Arum is paranoid that the USADA isnt neutral enough to administer the tests. How is one right and the other wrong?

That is my first impression but then he would just say that bc arum doesn't hold his tongue by him not mentioning it seems fishy. like they feel confident all of sudden. no more needles or supersititions talks.

its up to WADA to appoint/entrust an agency who will administer the testing... arum just wants WADA to be in charge for the overall testing (not USADA) and ensure that testing is done in accordance to the rule and under strict scrutiny and watchful eye of WADA...and also to ensure that no shenanigans will happen during testing on whoever agency they will appoint....

Well considering that the man has been talking about retirement since 2006 it doesn't take a bachelor's degree to figure the man wants to walk away and the only thing keeping him around is the ridiculous amounts of money he's been making.

:thinkAnd I can think of many reasons to hate someone, but a boxer pushing for random drug testing in all his fights doesn't sound to me like a good enough reason to hate him.

And you were probably never a real fan of Floyd if you can spew such hatred towards him like he is the only reason this fight hasn't been made yet. There is a flip side to the coin. Your a *******. Be proud of it.

Correction... since his 41st pro fight. Floyd was fine and dandy with the NSAC testing up until it was time to fight Pac. All of a sudden he wants to push for overall better testing in the sport, yet only implements it for HIS fights and not any of the other fights within his promotional company. Hmmm..... Now he has no choice but to ask for additional testing for all his future fights in order to save face for asking for it for the Pac fight.

If WADA were to oversee USADA while testing, that should be good enough for Arum. Arum doesn't trust USADA because they operate without having anyone to monitor their practices.
