That was the way I saw it as well!

I have no reason to believe that Lewis would not have been dominant in any era.

    Brian London?
If beating London made a fighter an ATG. There's 13 other ATGs that done that before Ali!:lol:

lol you show a highlite of a guy that was 205 lbs. and didn't show up to fight but to get payed. he was quoted after saying "I got paid the same for 3 rounds as I would have for 15". and he wasn't ever a world champion, being ko'd in his two title fights and had a stunning record of 38-20.

My bad. He wasn't the world champion, he was the British amateur champion then won the BBBofC and Commonwealth HW titles.

I know, that doesn't count for **** in the real world, but i'd guess it means something in the UK.

    :patsch

Either way, my point wasn't that he was great. My point was that if Ali unleashed that speed on Lennox it would have been the same outcome.

Also, just for the record, Ali beat probably the best Brit HW ever in Henry Cooper....twice.

    :hi:

If you remove Ali from the picture he might have been.

After all, Ali didn't have to fight himself or Lewis did he?

So remove Ali from the picture. Now how does it look?

Ali, Frazier, Foreman, and Holmes all had pretty good whiskers. I think they would be able to take Lewis's punches better than he could take theirs. He wouldnt have dominated but he would have been respected.

Hell, if Rahman and McCall are putting him out... pah-leeze!

It looks like at least three guys, Liston, Foreman and Frazier, KO'ing Lewis.

    Other fights Lewis couldn't win:

    Floyd Patterson
    Jerry Quarry
    Buster Mathis
    Ingemar Johansson
    Archie Moore

    Are you Zakman?

That's a ludicrous statement. Like saying if Ali struggles with a midget with one eye and no right hand, how the **** is he ever going to beat a 6'5' guy that can punch anyones lights out?

Oh jesus christ. Now I know you're on the wind up.

I would love to see Leiws taking shots from Ali. One thing for sure, he would be taking more and he didnt have the whiskers Ali had.

    Lewis' style is Ali's nightmare.

Frazier would get obliterated inside 3.

    Foreman would beat, probably UD.

Holmes gets beaten UD as well.
