seriously, this guy has been on a tear lately and the scarier thing is he just keeps getting better and better through each fight. i like juan manuel marquez and all but i think his time at the top of the LW division is gonna come to a brutal halt if rios gets his hands on him.:deal

put it on the wall now, this guy will be TKO'd or KO'd when he steps up to elite comp. book it.

This is true. If JMM leaves for good in novemeber then only Gurerruo or Broner can give him problems, and Rios can win both of those fights. dude is a beast

ya'll are getting a little too excited over this guy. He's a good fighter but I dont see anything super special about him yet. He's like a minature Margarito. solid boxing skills with the mexican heart. He's no wear close to elite level though.

Um I consider Acosta elite at LW and Rios KOed him. Other than Marquez who are these elites? Rios should to move up to 140 and mix it up there. That would be fun.

No he isn't. He is similar only in the fact that is a come foward fighter. He is better than Margo in every department: Hand speed, punching power, combination punching, foot work, accuracy, and technique. Rios's defense is also madly underrated. He doesn't take shots in the face for fun, he picks off quite a bit of them with his elbows and gloves. Garcia is teaching this guy how to put forth educated pressure and that's what he's doing.
