yeah he wasn´t all that bad against Vitali. Hes some nobody, a clubfighter and at least he had a decent gameplan in opposition to Haye against Wlad for example. He kept provoking Vitali with his jab, picked some shots and made Vitali miss the rest hoping Vitali would gass out. Vitali is old and only went once the full 12 rounds before. It worked for Ali against Foreman or Rubio against Lemieux recently etc. It didn´t work for him but it was worth a try imo. He would never beat Vitali with any different gameplan either..
I think talk counts for little in boxing in general at the end of the day. Seth Mitchell might just be a quiet guy and wasnt expecting Johnson act like that. With all due respect to Johnson, whos a decent fighter, talk wont win him the fight. Skills win the fight. And Seth has the better jab and is a heavier puncher, I would pick him any day over Johnson.
