We just had the #1 and #3 heavyweights fight it out, now in the next few months we'll have

#2 Vitali Klitschko vs #4 Tomasz Adamek.

#5 Alexander Povetkin vs #8 Ruslan Chagaev,

#6 Eddie Chambers vs #7 Tony Thompson,

#9 Robert Helenius ve Sergey Liakhovich,

    Dereck Chisora vs Tyson Fury,

Alex Dimitrenko vs Michael Sprott, (European) HW title.

That doesn't sound like a "Boring" division too me..........:thumbsup

Mike Perez is pretty exciting as a heavyweight aswell. Lets see how he develops. There are talks about him fighting Kevin Johnson. On facebook i asked Kevin how the Perez fight was looking and he said " Pretty good"

Perez is looking like another good up-and-coming fighter to go along with all the others,

When in the history of heavyweight boxing has so many top ten fighters fought each other in just a few months??

Haye wouldn't be a top contender let alone a pinnacle moment in Anyones career in other decades.

    That is all.

We've also had Solis vs Vitali, Sosnowski vs Dimitrenko and Helenius vs Peter as well this year on top of that. I just wish more of the other weight classes could follow suit.

if this is all you're used to i can understand u not having a problem with the state of the heavy weight talent pool, but some of us are used to much better.

Agreed 2011 is turning out to be a great year for the heavys. All the fights that have been building over the last 3 years are happening now. There is even the possibility of yet another super-fight if Wlad takes on the winner of Pov-Chag.

Haye wasn't a pinnacle moment in Wlad's career either. Maybe in the minds of deluded Brits, but that's about it really. One of his better wins, yes, pinnacle monent, most certainly not.

It is a poor division though, no doubt about that.

I just wish more exciting match-ups were made.

Why didn't we get to see Brewster-Peter, Peter-Arreola etc...
